Keepsakes in Elden Ring are special starting gifts selected during character creation. Any class can choose any Keepsake to begin the game. You can also choose to NOT take a Keepsake if you prefer.
How To Get Keepsakes In Elden Ring
Keepsakes in Elden Ring can be selected during Character Creation. The same items can also be obtained later in the game, so don’t worry if you are not happy with your selection.
Elden Ring Keepsake List
Keepsakes in Elden Ring are Starting Gifts selected during character creation. Each Keepsake item can also be obtained later in the game. Think of these as an extra bonus to help your build survive early on.
There are 9 possible Keepsakes to choose from in Elden Ring, including:
- Crimson Amber Medallion
- Land’s Between Rune
- Golden Seed
- Fanged Imp Ashes
- Cracked Pot
- Stonesword Key
- Bewitching Branch
- Boiled Prawn
- Shabriri’s Woe
Crimson Amber Medallion
A medallion inlaid with Crimson Amber. Increases Maximum HP.
Lands Between Rune
The gold of grace shining in the eyes of the people of the Lands Between. Use to gain many runes.
Golden Seed
A golden seed washed ashore from the Lands Between. Said to reinforce Sacred Flasks.
Fanged Imp Ashes
The ashes of small, diminutive golems. Ashes are said to hold spirits within.
Cracked Pot
Three strange cracked pots that somehow mend themselves. A container for certain thrown items.
Stonesword Key
Two stone keys shaped like swords. Breaks the seal on imp statues, but can only be used once.
Bewitching Branch
Five sacred branches charged with beguiling power. Said to originate from the demigod Miquella.
Boiled Prawn
Five boiled prawn. Boosts physical damage negation.
Shabriri’s Woe
The crazed likeness of a noble whose eyes have been gouged out. Attracts enemies’ aggression.
Which Keepsake Is Best?
The best Keepsake for most players will be the Golden Seed as this can be used to get an extra Health Flask early on.
Other popular options include the Stonesword Key that allows early access to secret areas in the game and the Fanged Imp Ashes for an early Spirit Summon.
