Intimidating Bash is an upgrade to the Shield Bash skill for Sword And Shield users in New World. Intimidating Bash belongs to the Defender Tree, which is focused primarily on reducing damage taken and applying crowd control effects to enemies. This Upgrade causes Shield Bash to greatly increase threat and deal 100% more damage. Shield Bash can also be further upgraded with Concussive Bash.
Active Skills for the Sword And Shield increase in efficiency with Strength as their Primary Attribute and Dexterity as their Secondary Attribute. Investing into either Attribute will increase the damage of your Sword and Shield’s basic attacks and skills, though you will see a greater bonus for investing in Strength.
