Opportunity is an upgrade to the Whirling Blade skill for Sword And Shield users in New World. Opportunity belongs to the Swordmaster Tree, which is focused primarily on dealing damage as well as slowing enemies and rending their armor. This Upgrade causes Whirling Blade to inflict 5% Rend for 10s (Rend reduces a target’s armor). Whirling Blade can also be further upgraded with Tactical Strike.
Active Skills for the Sword And Shield increase in efficiency with Strength as their Primary Attribute and Dexterity as their Secondary Attribute. Investing into either Attribute will increase the damage of your Sword and Shield’s basic attacks and skills, though you will see a greater bonus for investing in Strength.
