Base Skill: Whirling Blade
Tactical Strike is an upgrade to the Whirling Blade skill for Sword And Shield users in New World. Tactical Strike belongs to the Swordmaster Tree, which is focused primarily on dealing damage as well as slowing enemies and rending their armor. This Upgrade causes Whirling Blade to reduce its cooldown by 10% for each enemy hit. Both Whirling Blade and Opportunity must be unlocked first before this Upgrade can be obtained.
Active Skills for the Sword And Shield increase in efficiency with Strength as their Primary Attribute and Dexterity as their Secondary Attribute. Investing into either Attribute will increase the damage of your Sword and Shield’s basic attacks and skills, though you will see a greater bonus for investing in Strength.
